a good always on free antivirus program that is relatively small, around 10mb to download, cause i have a dialup isp, avg is too large and would take 5 hours to load, it should scan email and files and update automatically or when i go to their site, i'm using windows xp home edition, also if you could tell me the site to download it from

Avast! meets your requirements, other than size at 21MB for the installer, and it is also rated in the top tier of A/V software for detection rates. There is nothing smaller AFAIK that will provide the options you want and which is also in the top tier of A/V software.

If your dialup is unlimited (meaning no extra charges despite the extra MB used or extra time used), you can use a download manager to speed up the download.
