I have a cable modem that I always set to block all when I'm going to be away from my computer for any length of time. The first few times I came back and it was blinking like a Christmas tree I chalked it up to forgetfulness but now I'm certain that it is being unblocked and reconnecting to the internet without my help. What would cause this? The modem is leased from my service provider,I haven't asked them about it yet because I don't trust them anyway.

Hello Cudni thanks for responding,
I set the switch on top of the modem (Motorola Surfboard sb5101) to block all and it used to stay that way until I unblocked it.Now it somehow becomes reconnected in as little as 20 minutes.I am 100% certain that I am the only person with physical access to this computer.

Call your ISP and ask them to run diagnostics on it.... _________________ <img src="http://www.castlecops.com/zx/johnlgalt/johnlgalt%20sig.png">
