I own a compaq pc with vista home basic edition and have kaspersky anti virus running on my laptop. I use firefox for browsing and since a few days, a weird thing happens.... when I browse for about 10-15 mins, search engines like Google, Amazon, Yahoo do not display their results and the status bar goes blank. When i search on Live.com, it works fine but I don't know how, this spy ware gets into my systerm and most of the search engines do not display their results. Please help me as I depend on google most of the time.....by the way, i don't use any antispyware....forgot to tell.....also a window opens in the Internet explorer saying something like Antispywareexpert, Or Systemerror fixer .....please hlep

thanking you

After following the MRP (url posted above) if you think you're still infected with malware post a Hijackthis log in this forum.

I also suggest you install Windows Defender (if you use Windows XP), which is free and is available from http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
