Since installing Zone alarm (free) mailwasher hangs when trying to download mail from Hotmail. I'm using Windows Live mail on my Vista Ultimate system. I have checked all the necessary 'boxes' to allow the program to pass through Zone Alarm. What am I doing wrong please?

Sorry about the delay in answering this, I have been unable to get on the forum to even read anything.
As for your problem (I am going to shotgun this a bit incase I can't get back on) do you have your DNS and DHCP servers in the trusted zone? Do you have only 1 firewall running? Are you having any other kind of connection problems? Is the connection hanging, or the Application? What part of the mail process does mailwasher hang on?
