Hi,
I'm still trying to answer my own previous posts.
My browser keeps redirecting to http://search.lycos.com......
But I've noticed that it first looks at http://www.errorplace.com
(Infact, to see where I'm redirected each time see: http://www.errorplace.com/red.php)
Anyway, so I went to errorplace and it gives a .exe that can be downloaded to remove it...
Can someone please advice if I should run this file??
Many thanks,
Starsky

OK,
just incase you were wondering (!)
I've since downloaded both BHODemon and ToolbarCop which have both found a file called Jimmyhelp which is causing the problem.
Using BHODemon disabled it, although the problem was not fixed. Using ToolbarCop to disable it has solved the problem.
Note that none of the other ad/spy ware programmes found this, although they did find the other parts of the 'virus' that were installed at the same time.
In the end I didn't run the .exe file.
