I recently went to run my norton anti virus software and had the following issue: When I clicked on the software through my start menu, no process was started. I figured maybe the shortcut link was broken. I tried finding the executable file but couldn't find it in the appropriate folder. I then uninstalled and then reinstalled the software. It still won't run. Along with this, my mouse pointer will become an hour glass every few minutes. Norton is the only software I cannot run and its on a new computer. Do I have a virus?? Can anyone offer any suggestions??

I am having a similar problem with Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition 7.5 with Win XP Pro. Mine will open but crashes if you look in quarentine and wont scan the computer.

What version are you running and did it work OK before?
