From Stuart:

Edit your registry and replace all references to fastwebfinder with www.search.msn.com.

Then remove the reference ld.exe from your registry then delete c:\windows\ld.exe

It works a treat!

Hi CalamityJane and Stuart,

Thank you for your kind feedback. I have removed all the files with fastwebfindercom and id.exe. Have use the latest pattern anti-virus. However, i still have the same problem. It sometimes goes to fastwebfinder.com web site whenever i surf the net.

I have done the scan hijack. Please check for me. Thanks.

You have a very recent, and particularly obnoxious CWS parasite variant.

Download the very latest build of CWShredder here:

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip

Run it, press 'Next', and allow it to fix all it finds.

Next, run Hijack This once more, repost to this forum thread, and please show us a fresh log.
