Hi ryank010, welcome and thanks for regeristing.
The first thing you need to do is :

Download , unzip and run the newest version of
CWShredder http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip
Let it fix everything it finds and then reboot.

Download Spybot - Search & Destroy
Short tutorial and download link here:
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/index1.html
Now press Settings, and Settings again.
Go to the Webupdate section, and check "Display also available beta versions".
Now press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.
Next, close all Internet Explorer windows, hit 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove all it finds.
Reboot.

Download Ad-Aware at http://lavasoft.element5.com/software/adaware/
After installing AAW, and before running the program, update by using the Globe icon.
Shut down and restart Ad-Aware.
Now press "Scan Now", "Select drives\folders to scan" and select the active partition (usually C: ), then 'next', and let Ad-Aware scan your drives.
It will find a number of "bad" files and registry keys. Click 'Next' again.
Rightclick in that pane and choose "select all" and click 'next'.
It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK.
Finally, close Ad-Aware, and reboot.

Post a new HJT log after last reboot.
.

- Another question bulldog. The syslaunch file is now gone from C:/. So that is good. That seemed to be the problem. But also, when I click on Internet Explorer and my hompage comes up...it will be there for a second and then go to "cannot find server" page. The internet is working, because as soon as you type any web address in it goes to the chose page witout any troubles. Just wondering why it's being strange. Is it because of the virus I just had and because it is still on my PC. THANK YOU, you guys are the best!!!

Have Hijack This fix the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and selecting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

Your homepage needs to be reset.
Might be best if you just reset eveything back to IE defaults and then reset the homepage of your choice.
Here's a regfile that will restore the Windows defaults for practically everything Search-related.

http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads/tools/IEFIX.reg

Save to disk, close all browser windows, double click the file and answer 'yes' when asked to merge.
Restart your computer, and test your browser.

Now:Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Reboot.
Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
